22 mixes added to the archive!

There’s a staggering 22 mixes to the archive!

To celebrate 22 years in the game as a professional DJ, Brisk has added a mammoth 22 sets to the mixes archive. There are lots of different live sets covering numerous venues, styles and eras including a couple of sets you wouldn’t expect such as ‘Trance Penis‘ and ‘Brisk Breaks‘.

Brisk scoops a title at the Hardcore Heaven Awards!

Brisk wins best Hardcore Techno DJ 2009 at the Hardcore Heaven Awards

Brisk picked up the title of ‘Best Hardcore Techno DJ’ at the 2009 Hardcore Heaven Awards.

Brisk would like to extend his very special thanks to all of the fans who voted for him this year and is still ‘in shock’ with the win!

“With 5 minutes left in my set MC Wotsee approached me to tell me I had to stop the music to announce an award winner. If I’m honest, I was actually quite frustrated because I only had a 45 minute slot and really didn’t want to stop so close to the end of my set. I thought ‘why can’t they wait until the end of my performance to announce the winner?!’. I begrudgingly killed the music so MC Storm could announce the award and my jaw hit the floor when he announced my name! It was very surreal experience and definitely not expected. Wotsee handed me the microphone to say a few words and for once in my life I couldn’t think of anything to say! I’d like to thank everyone who voted, it really means a lot to have your efforts rewarded by the public. Thank you all SO much!“

Ok, so it’s not a mammoth update in terms of numbers but here’s 3 more quality Brisk mixes for you to add to your collection:

Brisk – Ruff & Raw volume 3

Number 3 in a series of studio mixes put together in the early 90’s. This one is from 1994 and was released in extremely limited quantity as a double cassette format. More in the series will follow so watch this space!

MERRY XMAS! 36 new mixes added to archive!

Christmas is well and truly here and what better way to celebrate than by blasting out some Brisk mixes while stuffing your face with a delicious roast?!

Obviously that won’t be possible or suitable for most people but have some mixes regardless!

There’s a MASSIVE 36 new mixes to go through in the mix archive bring the total up to a huge 145 in total!!! In order to accommodate the sheer volume of music the layout of the mixes page has also been tweaked into groups as follows:

20 mixes added to the mix archive!

To celebrate the start of 2010 Brisk had added another 20 mixes to share with you in the mix archive!

Brisk has managed to unearth a huge case of old mixtapes and is slowly working his way through recording them and uploading them so you can grab them. Please note that some of these mixes are nearly 20 years old and from cassette format, so don’t expect shiny digital quality! That said, the sound does add to their charm so if it’s a slab of nostalgia you want then dive right in!!

On top of the studio mixes there are some more live sets too. There’s still a mountain of tapes to go through so expect another update soon but until then, get stuck in to this lot!
