Blatant Beats are on fire right now with yet another blazin’ 3 track release from Next Generation bad boy, Brisk and Hardcore Underground’s very own DJ Fracus.

I recently discovered a selection of my old DJ mixes on cassette tape in a box in the attic. These were recorded WAY back in the day in my bedroom, typically after a visit to the local record store so I could record and listen to my latest beats.

These mixes bring back many memories for me and I hope that you enjoy the tunes contained in them as much as I do!

There are 6 volumes in total and you can find the volumes 1-3 in my studio mix archive HERE. I will add the remaining three at a later date for you.

Following up on their ‘Hardcore Underground Presents: 2010’ album releases from last year, this project has been a long time in the making. They’ve worked as hard as they can to ensure that this follow up allows them to continue ticking as many boxes as possible when it comes to quality, variety, innovation and good value.

With exciting studio collaborations between the three of them this year and a shared ferocious passion for variety, energy and open-minded DJ mixes, HU’s Fracus & Darwin finally team up as a duo with DJ Brisk.

CD3: Slipmatt & Entity

It’s almost impossible to introduce DJ Slipmatt without using cliches! HU are immensely proud to welcome arguably the most influential of Hardcore DJ’s and producers on board, teaming him up with HU’s own DJ Entity as he makes his much anticipated debut mixing an HU CD.

CD4: Douglas & A.B.

Two further exciting debutants join the fray for HU5 to push their exciting and forward thinking sound (and all the various artists that encompasses). As one door closes for the more underground sounds of Hardcore so another opens with plenty of talented and capable artists to continue pushing the music forward well into the 21st century.
